UNIC 5D was in production from 1988 until the late 1990’s.
UNIC 5D resembles the later UnicLine 5D, in the way the console and instrument arm were built.
The patient’s chair is somewhat different from the later models, however, the unit proved to be very durable.
Still today more than 40 years later you will still find practices which are equipped with the UNIC 5D units. Every year Heka’s partners are called to upgrade the dental unit in a practice from anno 1980’s to current models.
Impressive for a dental unit to have +40 years of service in practices around Europe.
